The African-American Leadership Roundtable (A.A.L.R) is the Norcross High School leadership organization that works to move African-American students beyond negative stereotypes and into positions of leadership. The A.A.L.R student leaders meet bi-weekly to sharpen their leadership skills and to plan the philanthropic activities that directly impact the Norcross community. These activities include the following:
· LifeSouth and Red Cross student blood drives
· The United Way student fundraising campaign
· The American Lung Association’s T.A.T.U (Teens Against Tobacco Use) campaign
· The Minority Youth Leadership Summit
· The National Youth Violence Prevention Week campaign
· The annual Black History Month Program
· College Tours
· Voter Registration Drive
